OK, so apparently lots of people are having difficulty with this since this application was not developed to run in a 64 bit environment.
So, the developers at Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom provided us with "Compatibility Mode."

Here is what I did to get this application to work in XP 64, should be the same for Vista.

1. Download the latest Sprint Media Manager for Instinct.
2. After DL is complete, right click and select properties.
3. Compatibility tab, select "Run this program for: Windows XP"
4. Install

There, reboot and run!

I would love to make mmccrore's a stickie but he really hasn't posted much anywhere else. Although his info is good, considering most of the people complaining about SMM not being able to work on Vista probably haven't read this new posting even with 67 views... I could be wrong it has happened before.

the webpage on sprint.com to download the media manager doesnt exist anymore where can i find it? i dont have the cd that comes with the phone either.
