Skinning the UI??

Hi there,

I'm new here to the forums and I'm currently a Mogul owner, but will be an owner of the instinct after the apps and updates roll out to make it expandable. My boi just got the instinct and so far he loves it, and so do I.

My question is; is it possible to skin the UI? I'm figuring that it can be done, because the whole os is Java based right? I mean the phone is already been under the knife with developers and will soon be coming out with apps for it.

If anybody has any information about skinning the UI on the phone, could you please let me know? I've been googling and searching and maybe I don't have the right keywords.

i feel you man...i formally owned a mogul and had it tricked out...but yea i would like to see a skin for the ui too. I like to customize the look of my phone. But i havent found anything yet but in time i know it will come.......

Agreed.I was on a site for cases a week ago and it showed the Instinct with a blue UI. Unfortunately I haven't seen it since and I have my browser set to clear history....DOH!..but I do belive that it will be addressed.Sooner than later I hope.

well sprint needs to hope on that train and let us skin the ui somehow. YES I CAN HEAR IT NOW........"THERE ARE BIGGER PROBLEMS BLA BLA BLA" but u got to have fun with ur phone, i mean, if i wanted a brick with numbers, i would just buy a plan-jane phone or send smoke signals........honest yes, will that be the first thing that gets fixed probably not, but opinions are welcomed on forums Grin
