Original Instinct vs S30: different News, Weather, Sports, and Movies?

Hi, I've been searching through the forums, but I don't see that my question has already been answered.

I bought the original Instinct when it first came out and I have always enjoyed the News, Sports, Movies, and Weather apps that it came with. I liked that they were somewhat customizable and downloaded a lot of information quickly.

A couple of days ago, I just changed to the Instinct s30 (my touch screen on the old phone was crapping out). Now, those Sports, etc. buttons just open a web browser to a Sprint site that has more links to more websites.   I would like to get back the old app if that's possible. Was that phased out of the s30??? Seems like that would be a step backward.

Any input on how to get that? Thanks!
