One day, the music player just stopped working. If i try to open it, it just brings up the loading circle which spins infinitely until I get out of it, from there subsequent attempts just cause the Fun screen to freeze until I touch the Home button. I've tried loading the music player without the SD card in with the same results...

Before you ask, I have indeed searched and found the JukeBox.jar file, I tried to Rumkin it, but as soon as I try to download my phone soft resets.

My M800 has the MR-6 update and it's current Music version is 2.2.48, and I don't want to reset my phone (I don't want to lose all of my apps, and I like being able to download stuff with Opera Mini and MR-6) so any help would be appreciated, and result in cookies of course Smiley

You obviously know something about this site and how to search and get info, so i would say start from the easiest thing like power off your phone and take the battery out all the way up to calling customer service or taking your phone into a service center. It sucks to loose all your stuff that's on your phone... I believe there are backup programs that you can store all that stuff in, this way if they do give you a new one or hard resets your phone you could restore it. Well if I did not give any good tips I do hope that I did provide the possibility of an answer in the near future.

Well, pulling the battery out of my phone didn't help, unfortunately, so I think I'll just take my phone to the Sprint store. Thanks for the advice, though Cheesy Hope you like chocolate chip.

just remember prior to bringing it in to service, back up all your stuff using bitmin or another product. It will save you tons of time instead of re-downloading them.
Thx for the cookie..........I loooove chocolate chip.....lol

What did Sprint end up doing with your phone?  My Instinct has the exact same symptoms as yours and I've tried the various fixes listed on this forum.  I wondered if Sprint had a solution for you.

Thanks.

Try the third reply on this post.  It fixed the problem I was having by installing an old version of the music player.

When I took my M800 to the Sprint store, the techs ended up having to do a hard-reset, so I lost all my apps including iClone and the Palm Pre app Sad
