Mobile Sync - Weird Split-Screen Crashes Explained

I noticed a few posts earlier about people having weird 1/2 drawn screen lockup occur on this phones, and people telling them to return the phone.....

I managed to duplicate this condition a couple of times successfully, and I am now convinced what is causing mine.

I've been struggling to get MobileSync to work on my phone, and was following the guide posted on here to see if I could get it working.

Enabling MobileSync on the phone, resulted in the usual "Registering your choice...." popup, but not much else.  That popup showed up one or two more times, before finally causing my phone to practically LOCK up.

Moving between screens by pressing one of the bottom 4 icons, took 30 seconds or more!  I finally had to yank the battery out of the phone because it was not responding, and had hung 1/2 way thru a screen scroll.  It was still slow after rebooting, but I was able to get back in to mobilesync and deactivate it.  That stopped the phones poor behaviour.  Immediately.

I rebooted and once again activated mobilesync.  THE exact same lame behavior occured.  I repeated the same steps to recover, and my phone returned to it's normal zippy self.

Either the ongoing network issues are still causing issues, and/or MobileSync needs a patch or two....

Thought I would post this just incase someone else thinks their phone is defective.....
