Hey all. Quick question, hope this is the right place to put it. Smiley The voicemail upgrade, well when I clicked Yes, I wasn't provisioned with PowerVision so it could not download and errored out. Now 2 days later still have not gotten the prompt to download. Is there a way to force it to download?? I tried in settings to update phone software, didnt find/download anything.

Look under phone information in settings<general...... what version do you have for voicemail ?

Yep, you should have 16 at the end. Try accessing your voicemail, and see if it pops up. Otherwise, while the phone is on, take out the battery, wait a minute or 2, and put it back in and reboot the phone. Then try accessing voicemail, and see if it promps you for the update.

No, not at the moment. Only other thing I can think of is checking for a software update and seeing what happens, or doing a data reset on your phone and reprovisioning all of your data services/updates that you should have gotten, but if it ain't broke, then don't fix it !

I'm having a similar issue.  Sprint ended up replacing my first Instinct with another one (first one updated when I called voicemail, as opposed to just looking at the visual).  When I first clicked voicemail it started downloading the update, but stopped around 50%.  That was a week ago, and I'm still stuck with the .14 version.  Tech Support chat said to bring it into the store... I will when I have time I guess. Undecided

I was able to find a fix.

If you do a reset on your phone (Main > Settings > Reset > Reset Phone) when it came back up I went to voicemail and bam, there was the dialog box and mine updated fine.

Make sure mobilesync is up to date, as it is a full phone reset. But it worked great for me Smiley

I'm trying to avoid the phone reset because of downloaded games and ringers.  I called tech support and the lady told me that they were sending the update to me.  I had to hang up the phone to get it... but it never came through.  I'll call back tomorrow I guess.  Smiley


EDIT: Yeah, I did the reset.  Worked like a charm!   Grin

You can redownload them from the digital lounge if you lose them.
