I wanted to create this topic (hopefully an Admin makes it a sticky) that will let everyone know what version they have and if they need an update.  You can access your versions by going to Main/Settings/General/Phone Information.

Version:
- PRL: 60612
- SW:ES.M800 BE09
- HW:M800.08
- MCL: 5.5.28
- OBIGO: Q05A1-3.12

Applications:
- Email: 6.9.1.238
- Voicemail: VN.4.1.0.16
- Nav: 2.1.0.21
- Music: 2.2.38
- SprintTV: 3.0.44
- Live Search: 1.70.1
- Pocket Express: 1.0.8



These are the versions I have as of 6/30/2008 at 1:56 p.m. Eastern U.S. Time.

The versions in the top post are current (and have been since before the weekend afaik).

I'm not sure if there will be an update today or not.  I was led to believe from the note from eCare that there WOULD be an update today.  It's possible it was delayed or it will come out later.

I intend to follow-up with her tomorrow.

Somewhere on here, someone posted what the update was...nothing to spectacular, but i think in the weeks to come, more updates and possibly some cooked-up app's and downloads will be available........ Shocked

The new updates are coming anytime from July 1 to the end of the second week of july thats what 4 different reps told me.

The phone hasnt been out THAT long. Sprint still has a 2 week minimum for people who order a phone, before they should even think about having it in their hands....

I think they would be more inclined to get all the backorders out, before trying to update the phone for the relatively few people who already have one.

Just my opinion.

Dude I feel ya....Just got mine in yesterday.
Sprint told me yesterday morning that my phone didnt go out, went home for lunch, and it was like christmas!!!

Almost called work and told them I was sick, but just went back and played on it anyways....
Everyone seems really impressed with it, even if they have never heard of it before.

Well, lucky you lol   Shocked Cheesy just kidding man, but, for an update, I just talked to the rep.  Since i ordered it last thursday, im told it should be here any time before next thursday, so im hoping i will possibly come home and BAM it will be there.  Christmas in july....awesome  Grin Grin Grin

Preferred Roaming List -- I believe it essentially is what towers from other carriers Sprint has negotiated use of. It lets your phone know what it should use if Sprint isn't wholly available.
