Thank you so much for the info in reference to the syncing the phone..For a very long time now the sprint stores couldn't figure it out that the reason my phone always showed "registering will take a moment" but never did, therefore it would never sync without updating the online profile..duh

My phone prompted me to do an update for the Calendar last night and then I updated software.  Can anyone help this idiot understand what it will do different now with the update on the work calendar?  I would appreciate your patience and help.  Have a great day.

Apparently the "new calendar" only appears with your email account.  That is what I read in another group.  It seems you need to set up your Exchange account in order to see your calendar in the email window.  I have not set up an Exchange account, so I am not sure if that's the case.

Have you tried the Calender App . When it opens it should give you the option of Reg or Work from what I have read.

That's correct it's Only for OWA  .  I even setup Sprint Connector thinking that would work but it doesn't just for E-mail and Contacts and that didn't even work.

Sucks for me I don't want my Work suff on it just for a calender App . I would also have my personal stuff show up on that for work and I don't want them to know my Plans.

That's funny. For some reason I can not even set up my OWA with my work so I have to use that awful Sprint connection manager that only works when you computer is on and not in screen saver mode which our company has our screen saver set for 15 minutes so it is pretty much worthless unless I am in front of my computer or come back ever 15 minutes to log back on. Anyway, I do have the work calendar for the Sprint connection manager. My calendar looks nothing like the one in the Best Buy ad. Same old look and feel as the one that came on the phone.

If anyone can help me set up OWA on my phone I would greatly appreciate it. I can access it through the web but can only view my emails. My previous phone Treo 700WX has no problem with this and I am using the same settings and my Instinct keeps telling me to check my settings. They are the same as they were on the Treo. Whats up with that?

THANKS

Quick ?, if I have the $89.99 Everything Data plan (900 min/etc), then I will *not* be charged data fee for using the OWA calendar...right?

You shouldn't be charged.  I chatted with a Sprint rep tonight asking the very same question, and she assured me that I would not be charged extra.

So, lol...after reading 13 pages of why we lost so many customers I couldn't help but notice that apparently after almost 1 yr of owning an Instinct I have NEVER noticed that if you open the calendar, between the arrows at the top ( yeah, where it says the month and the year ) click it, and it gives you a "Go to" page where you can select a year all the way up to the year 2099, or for you Retro Lovers....back to 1980!!!... Rock on....

Yep, in 90 years this phone will need another upgrade to add more years....
Unacceptable I say... who's gonna want to call up Sprint when most of us will be over 110 years or older....geesh!!

Hello all. I've been doing a search about the Yahoo calendar. I have google calendar on my phone but REALLY MISS the "month" view. I got yahoo calendar on my phone but when I tried to enter an appointment and save, it wouldn't save. Any ideas?
