You need to play a little with the reminder

- Remember configure the time zone correctly
- Configure the Mobile Device or email to receive notifications with a check on Always Send a Reminder
-After save last step yahoo will give you 3 questions of reminders (All existing calendar events, Only calendar events with reminders, Do not apply the new settings to any calendar events) You select what you want and ready.

- Verify that the bell is in the appointment to ensure the reminder
- You need some time to can add reminder to new appointmens, when you update yahoo will tell you if the reminder is update or not.

When use with the Instinct select Standard mode in the browser to display better, faster and with all the funcionallity of yahoo.

I use the Sharing without change to display more fast in Opera 3.1
I configure a Favorite with calendar.yahoo.com/username

Play a little I use half day of my work to configure and test it.  hahaha

Thanks, I went to all my meetings and set the reminder on yahoo and now they all work.  I don't know if I create 1 in Outlook if it will apply the reminder.  I'll try that next.

On another note, is that Guayama, PR??  I am from PR too, but have lived in Rochester, NY for 11 years...Saludos

...after the last updates I went and checked, and apparently received no reminder, even though it set correctly. Guess I'll recheck everything listed above.

Let us know if the reminders you set from now on in Outlook work in Yahoo.

The correct is phone#@messaging.sprintpcs.com

All my Outook reminder works perfect, but after you update the calendar you need to go to the reminder section and update it with the same information only give save and apply change to assign all the reminders to all appointments.

wishmaster is correct.  Once you set the meeting/appt in outlook and it syncs with yahoo, go to Yahoo calendar and set the reminder there again and then it will work.  I have not been able to set the reminder in outlook and make it appear in yahoo calendar.

Unfortunately there is nothing to do at this point, maybe after the next update, but you can use the mobile format.  You will not be able to see your MyYahoo page, but you will see many other links.

Some more updates on the calendar situation, this from buzzaboutwireless.com yesterday:

I have seen a lot of threads asking about calendar syncing with exchange and/or domino with the Instinct.

Being that I work for the company that created the email application on the Instinct I can tell you that it is under development. Engineers are working on a completely separate calendar from the local calendar located on the Instinct. This is to avoid all of the limitations with the local calendar. This is to insure that you get full access to editing Notes, to do list, appointments, etc. Basically the same calendar that would be found on a full blown PDA device.
While I do not have an exact ETA, I can tell you that we are looking to get it released before the end of the year.
If you have any questions about this, post here and I can answer them.

LOL, I try to. I go over there looking for tidbits, cause for some reason, it seems to get posted over there more. I don't post over there (only post here), but seems whenever I go there, I have goodies to bring back for you guys lol. I will add this, though. In the past, I have posted a few times that the calendar would not get an upgrade. This is the same site I got today's info from. To anyone that was upset to hear previous information about no updates for calendar sync, I am sorry. I only try to bring you guys info as I find it, I cannot vouch for authenticity, this is more of an FYI for you. Carry on  Smiley

I have the latest updates, but I don't see an option to set an event
to repeat every two weeks.
