Yep, you heard the message right.   Whenever I enter into News & it updates I get " Uncaught Exception, Exiting Application ".  Even after removing the battery & restarting the device.  I have not done any mods to thy phone.   My wife's phone is working fine.   Anyone else having this issue, or any insight on it?

In the future please use the green search button in the upper right. There have been so many new posts on this that we are getting swamped trying to help people. Try searching for Handmark b/c that is the name of the company who made the app and that is what will direct you to the fix.

here is the fix to the problem:  go to the sprint home page on your phone's internet and in the right hand corner there is yellow box that says something like instinct upgrade, click that and it'll update the phone and it fixes the problem!
