You should have seen earlier commercials.  The speech-to-action commercial was my favorite.  Also the point-to-point navigation was cool.  These examples here are short.

I'm still laughing. And all the features they mention as being BETTER than the instincts. Do they watch the Apple App store at all? I guess not or they would have one of their own. Each day they release new FREE apps that have done even greater things in most cases than the instinct claims to own... Oh well Here's to getting the Touch Pro...lol

Alright I don't know if this is a vent or what but either way it doesn't belong in general discussions.

Keep on venting though bro...lol  Not saying anything about it as I agree with you about the lack of applications.

Just going to move this to Other Phones section Smiley

Those apps are all overrated.  Truly, most of the apps in the App Store are useless toys.  I have an iPod Touch and try to download apps to my device, but most everything is uselessly trash.  Just because hundreds of apps are out there, it doesn't mean they are good apps.  My iPhone friends continue to search for free or paid apps that can do some things the Instinct does: Live Search and Navigation, for example.  They also do not have MMS or stereo bluetooth.  So, what good is it to have thousands of apps?

I have a free app called "say where" thats compareable to livesearch and there are tons of mms apps...i definetely agree that more than half of the apps in the app store are useless toys but there's definetely a few that help out. Shazam, snaptell, say where, say who, to do list, etc. I have a an iphone and i bought my girl a touch for christmas and most of the apps that i can get on the iphone cant be found i the touch's app store...there isnt even a top free apps category on her touch
