ok so what is the samsung behold, It is a copy of our phone with a full accelerometer and a fully customizable screen and it has buttons instead of touch screen buttons at the bottom. If you ask me this is ridiculous. i have the instinct and i saw the behold at the verizon store and its the instinct done right.

Well, when it comes to Samsung's touch screen phones the Instinct was the first. Sprint took it and mistakenly thought it had everything everyone wanted/needed and would compete well with the iPhone of all things (in theory it wasn't so crazy). I don't know what goes on in board rooms, but it seems to me that Verizon and AT&T were more patient (they could afford to be) and waited for more features from Samsung.

the behold runs the touchwiz os built by samsung....same as the memoir with the usa's first 8mp camera.....the touchwiz os can lag at time just like our phone....also the behold/memoir on other carriers has limitations just like the instinct with us

Maybe the grass they were smoking in the board room affected their judgment.

Not a valid question to a person who has never owned the other device.

So it cannot be answered.

To now, fwiw, the problems I've had with the Instinct are less than I've had with the Blackberry 8330 Curve.

But, as with the Curve, things pan out, get corrected or worked around.  It's ok.

The forums at the Blackberry site are vast and full of the range of anxieties and compliments for Blackberries that we see here (there are far more Blackberries out there than Instincts).
