I read that T-Mobile is releasing the Cliq on 11/2, its slider adroid phone that will be directly competing with the Q.  I hope sprint sees this and releases the Q on this date as well or beat em to the punch and release it earlier.  They have a hot streak going with the new super cheap plans, TP2, HD, Hero might as well put the competition to bed and release the another android!

Ummm the Hero is coming out 10/11
Ummm... I dont think the Hero will be directly competing with the Cliq, it will be competing with the likes Iphone and the My Touch and other high end touch screen phones.  The Q will be competing with the Cliq I feel because of the similar form factor and Android OS.  This is my opinion.

That makes sense.

Murley...i dont want a Iphone. Im just repeating what every rep i have ever talked to face to face about it said. 3 reps total! Theres no reason to ban me. I also dont regret owning a samsung phone. I have dropped my instinct 12 times and it still works and the screen isn't cracked. Ive dropped it in snow and left in it my car in -20 degree winter. So STFU Murley. Im saying that the HD is not worthy a 200 dollar price tag. So grow up. I also said i haven't decided which phone im going to get. So get over it.

Oh and I have twice as many posts as you and im sure in that extra 400 or so posts I have over you was used to help people mod their phone, fix their phone, give advice on how to do stuff on the phone. Im entitled to my opinion and if my opinion gets me banned this forum wouldn't be worth my time anyway. Especially all the beta testing ive done, downloading apps and telling people if they work. Ive done more then add to the beauty of this forum. So get over it. Dont read my posts if you dont like what i have to say.

So on THIS topic i will say I wont know if M900 or 850 is better. From my experience playing with the M850 in BB, reading all the random problems that are going on with the M850. From what ive heard of the M900 ill probably sayd M900

With the M900 having Android and a keyboard alone will make it better than the M800 to me.  I can see the M900 getting some advertising unlike the HD.  I can see why they didn't promote the HD, it just wasn't enough substance there to justify spending the money.  But then again, I didnt see any TP2 ads either and it's a monster.  Maybe there getting away from that because the HD and TP2 still got alot of attention before their releases.

Addition "info" I have read about.  The Q is supposed to be released on Black Friday (Nov 27) at $230 price after 2yr agreement/rebates.  Someone has claimed that HTC/Sprint will release official info when the Hero goes on sale.  Also they made an unofficial claim that the phone will have 32g built in memory and MicroSD that supports and additional 32g.  (MicroSd support for 32g sounds right, but I dont know about onboard 32g.) They also stated that the Q will have the AMOLED screen.  I have heard that before and find it very likely.

Wow, I see Phonearena.com has the Q's unofficial release date as the 11/27 as well.  Thats disappointing to me because I cant wait that long for a new phone.  I was willing to wait around the end of the month or early next month to do some cpmparions with the Hero and Q to make a decision.  Oh well looks like the Hero it is the.  I guess these are good problems to have!LOL

The Touch Diamond looks pretty cool too, if thats coming soon I may wait for it.  Love that 3.6" screen!

Okay, I've finally come to understand that you're opinions are one sided and that you regret ever having purchased a Samsung phone.

Please go get yourself an iPhone and leave this forum in peace.

I'll cast the first ballot to ban this goofball from the forum.  Any takers on a second motion?  LOL

Haven't you figured it out yet?  It's impossible to even consider a phone like the HD when you have other choices like Android out there.  Even though the HD fits a lot of people out there they must be just ignorant idiots.

But seriously my girl bought the HD and I've used it a lot and it's a pretty cool phone.  It does a lot and for people out there that don't live their lives for their phones it's a great choice.  I'm lucky enough that when I upgrade the Hero and the Q will be out and I'll be able to compare them both to the HD and make my decision.  I understand most people on here have strong opinions and wants, but there are different people out there.

If you don't like the HD that's fine and I really don't care, but going into every thread about it and saying how it sucks, and how much better the Android is just gets old and annoying.

I haven't been on every thread bashing the HD. Just a few. If i wanted (and if i were a prick like Murley is assuming) I would have went on EVERY single complaint topic/thread about what is broke on their phone and bashed it. I just know that every first week release phone usually has some kind of problem with some sort of need for an update....but its not just the phone or the choice for the phone its the fact that people are hoping that sprint will come out with these needed updates faster then the original. It may happen and more power to sprint but just like stealth said with android out there its harder to make a decision for the HD. In 2 of the topics when i made a negative remark against the HD i also said in at least two topics that i wasn't sure which phone  i was going to get. I love samsung phones i just hate brew and being stuck under sprints control. Not just because sprint sucks alot in some of those areas but because there is a middle-man. Ill stop ranting, my point has been made. People need to learn that when someone repeats something that was told to them that they shouldn't be at fault for repeating it.

Has anyone heard much about the hardware used in the M900? I'm wondering as it seems that most of the Android phones out right now seem to all be 65K color displays like WinMo phones. In comparison, the original Instinct had a 262K color display and the Instinct HD has a 16.7 million color display. I just finished watching a phonedog review and the HTC Hero is also a 65K display. If there is one thing I've grown accustomed to in my week with the M850 is that the display is beautiful.

The M900 will have an AMOLED screen so im sure it may be over 65k colors. So far thats just educated speculation. Thats one thing im holding out on. The M900 will have the light, proximity sensors and accelormeter. AMOLED screen....pretty exciting stuff....supposedly the M900 is going to have a long battery life because of the AMOLED screen. If the light sensor works the way its supposed to it will dim the screen to room light or sun light, and with a AMOLED screen which wastes less power then other screens it will last pretty long.

Now, should Samsung include the Touchwiz overly on the Android m900 InstinctQ, there might be some grounds  (at least for myself) to reconsider it. Check this out   http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2009/10/05/samsung-behold-ii-marries-android-touchwiz-for-t-mobile/
