Just my $.02 but that screen is a crack waiting to happen!

With a screen that big, it is going to take less pressure to cause a fracture.  Just my thoughts...

Curious: would the same be true if it were plastic? Is it the rigidity that would make that a likely scenario?

The problem is lbs/sq.in.  The strength of the material makes a little difference but the big factor is the span between mounted edges.  A bridge can only be so long before a brace is needed in the center to equalize the force applied.

I just remember having my screen rupture about 9 months ago and sprint told me that it was from too much pressure being applied to the screen.  I baby my phone and don't necessarily agree with him but regardless, a screen that huge is going to have a very sensitive spot right in the middle...

as much as I hate when people bash things as beautiful as the leo I know that there is a good chance it can happen...but it also depends on if its GLASS or PLASTIC. It also depends on the frame.

That's why I was asking if rigidity was a factor, since plastic has much more pliability than glass.

I just found this article over at Tech Crunch that discusses the possible future or hiccups in the Android platform. I think Android will do fine but the article does raise some interesting questions.
