anyone had a chance to compare first hand between the two?  i've read that eris is better than hero, but the specs seem to show otherwise.

nice, thanks.  i was hoping for more tech and functionality comparisons but probably very minor differences.  $99 is definitely going to get a lot of notice for a new android phone.  i hope sprint will lower their price soon.
