(Instinct 2) Thread!!!

Just a reminder, HTC Touch HD runs WinMo 6.1  Not too long ago, HTC scored a contract with MS to run WinMo on their devices. 

On another note, however, I'm curious to see when Sprint (Dan Hesse) decides its time to field an Android device.  NOW if and when Sprint's Android phone comes out....then it'll be interesting to see who'll still stick up for the Instinct then.  I might jump ship from my Touch Pro and hitch a ride with the Android.

This is common knowledge. But the maze of menu's isn't there. Looks very user friendly. Every winmo device I've used have had a horrible mazes of menus

well, then what is it about WinMo then?  Since HTC Touch HD is running TouchFlo 3d...much like the TP and the Diamond.  It is still WinMo.  Also, if you spend a bit of time customizing and installing a few apps...the multitude of menus end up being not needed.

But I digress... Yes Touch HD is a beautiful device, I think we as Sprint users will get our hands on an Android device before we get (IF it even comes to hte States) to mess with the Touch HD

A better GPU, camera, and maybe flash support.

Since this isn't a smart phone, I won't say Windows Mobile but it would be cool to install it through a hack. :]

I agree with everything you said *10 and until it happens I will always have this slight feeling of discomfort. I won't change cells for awhile though. It's really the best phone I've ever had.

I'm looking for a smartphone without winmo......I think Sprint is trying to accomplish something like that with this phone....only time will tell

The instinct 2 is coming out on April 19th but the rediculus thing about it is that it is the same phone with a different cover... so far all the things that i read up on can be done to the original instinct.  what would have made more sense would have been to keep it as a big ol' update that would change the phone completly and maybe charge for it... cause after the update you'd have a different phone ya know?
