video format?

does anyone know what format videos have to be to be played on the instinct. I have some that are AVI and some that are quicktime MPG4 none of which will play.

mp4 if you use the software that came with the phone it will convert the files for you, others have posted faster software as well.

Also check this out i think its better than sideloading your videos, although quality is not great:
