sideloading

sideloaded a movie using included software. it plays fine but i'm getting no sound. it is an .avi file encoded in either divx or xvid. is it the codec issue?

That software is crap... I recommend converting the file to mp4 or 3g2 using http://mediaconverter.org/

then transfer it to the MEDIA folder using the USB cable...

thx for the useful info as i was actually lookin for a free converter. i hope this is a free software that doesnt require registration fee.

no fee... and is not a software, so you dont even have to install it... the website does the dirty work and at the end you download and save the file to ur PC...
