Hey everyone quick question.  Is there any way to save or download videos onto the instinct, say from youtube?  I know i had the TCMP or whatever it is called video viewer on my TOUCH that gave u a list of video sites that allowed you to download videos like from google or youtube.  Since there is no app for the instinct yet, does anyone know how to DL and save videos.  OR ARE WE JUST STUCK HAVING TO VIEW THEM AND BOOKMARK THEM LOL  Cheesy.  Thanks for yalls help.  Sorry if this has been asked before, but after searching the words "GOOGLE" and "DOWNLOAD VIDEO"  nothing that i had in mind was answered.

Unfortunately you are stuck bookmarking them, unless you have access to a computer, in which you can download them to the computer and then transfer them to your phone.

I don't think the Instinct supports .flv though.  You'd have to convert it to mp4 or something

you can always convert the .flv to a .mpg4 or .3gp so that you can watch it on the phone after you download it on your computer (requires special software, just search google for ".flv to .3gp convertor" and you will find some.

I tried the convertube thing but it just sat there forever twice, so I closed that out. I found this software about a year ago and it will download clips from youtube, google, and others to your computer, but if does not convert them, you will need a sepearate program to convert them and upload to your Instinct. I love it becausse I can put my favorite videos right on my desktop. Best of all, I got it free.

Yes, and it's very easy - either use Alive Youtube Video Converter which will basically download the video from youtube and convert it directly to mp4 for playback on your instinct

the other way is to use YouTube Downloader which will download as an flv that you'll have to convert yourself later.

The Alive app is easier since it will do the conversion to mp4 for you
