I just received an 8 gb SDHC card from Amazon, but I've noticed that the videos I put on there will hick-up like every 5-10 seconds. The hick-up consists of a brief glitch on the video. The audio is fine, though. Anyone else having this problem? Is it the memory card or just something that happens with the 8 gb cards?

My 8gb card runs fine . It yours a class 2 or class 4 ( It will have a C with a number in it on the card).

It might be something with your phone as well.

Did you just sideload them through WindowsExplorer or did you use the Sprint media manager to do the converting. It could be the Files you have have a different setting then the Instinct needs

Mine is a class 4. I use the software that came with the phone. How did you do it?

I have done mine both ways and don't have any issues . I have no other answers or suggestions. Maybe call CS and see if they have anything.

If you hook your Phone up to the Computer and use WindowsEX click on a Video from there . See if it skips on the Computer as well if not it must be something in the Phone not keeping up.

I experienced the same video glitching as described above.  I am using the miniSD that came with the Instinct and used Afree Video converted to turn the DIVX into an Mp4.  It looks great but every couple minutes it stops then starts again.  Very strange...

I am getting the same type of behavior with Ipod-nano formated media (Robotech) It looks great and loads quickly but after awhile it just stops the video and audio and sits there... Im thinking this is an issue with the Instinct since I can play the files easily on my pc....*sigh* this needs to be fixed...

I've got a Class 2 Sandisk 8GB MicroSDHC card and video does not stutter at all.
