Samsung Instinct - Sprint Radio Premier

Has anyone had any problems launching the Sprint Radio Premier? My Instinct will not load it for some reason. Also has anyone noticed that the signal bars drop consistently? I can stand in one location and with full bars and watch the signal flatline 20x. What gives? Did I get a "bad" phone and need to take advantage of the 30-day return policy?

The bar thing seems to be a common problem. It was mentioned ina couple reviews and by users here. Mine does it, but i always have signal, including using the net or navigation.

Maybe a software fix is needed.

thanks, I bought mine from a AR (auth retailer) and Sprint corporate wont help since I bought it from a 3rd party. I am going to take it back to the AR and just re-purchase from corporate.

I waited for 4 months for sprint to work the bugs out of the Instinct and there are some bugs that seem to continually arise. My sprint radio pops and skips to a point where listening to streaming radio is nearly impossible. I have calls and trouble tickets into sprint . Exchanged phone for another Instinct, updated all software , changed a few settings in ##data# MMG IP to 000.000.000.000 and port to 0000 ##data# . To no avail the streaming radio still skips and pops about every 30 seconds. TV looks real good now though. Hopefully they will work this problem out soon.
