HAHAHAHAHA! WE WON!

In all honesty, all you need is peerguardian2. Block your IP and you're all good. Not that I partake in it... police

Yep proxy maskers are all well and good but, they are not the solution. Plus the IP logs and info can still be subpoenaed if the ISP or site manager is asked for them. Putting my privacy in the hands of a few unknown people is not my cup o tea.

It never ceases to amaze me that people want their rights protected on the internet but feel that is ok to steal others hard work and are not worried about that.  If you are not illegally distributing or downloading music, games, films and software on the internet then you really do not have anything to worry about do you?

Don't go to a library then, you are reading for free! If I want to watch a tv show but it is on at 11pm and I can't stay up that late because I have to work the next morning, is it my fault that the broadcasters haven't found a way to advertise to me?

Back in the 70's and 80's they called it recording music....pretty cool concept...just put your tape in....listen for your favorite song and press record.
Then it was called borrowing, you know, you have a tape your friend wants to record, so he borrows it.
with computers, it's calles piracy....but all it really is, is borrowing recorded music.  your friend is an ip your sharing with...kind of like a nickname, lol.  most of us have one.
At home, I have a stereo that burns cds, with detailed instructions on how to burn a music cd, funny, it doesn't record anything else.  Guess I should be sued.  If I put my music cd in my computer, by default, it makes a copy of it on my computer.  Guess I should be sued.
Or maybe Sony or Microsoft?  How about a radio station?....yeah, okay, lol.
My laptop ip is off a router...guess the guy i'm connected to should be sued
This was a failed concept from the start.
If your selling bootleg cd's or dvd's, you are the problem.  Why should you profit from someone else's work.
Recording music and sharing is as old as the first record button put on any stereo to the first vinyl record ever sold...everybody shares there music with someone online, or with a family member, or friend...you criminals, lol.
The RIAA found a way to profit from it....so they thought.  Most people who settled with these geniouses look at it like a credit card that can't be paid, and aren't paying. Gonna throw 10 year old Timmy in the slammer over it?
Think Timmy stopped downloading music?
