The internal menory is 32 meg (which is ungodly small, my wifes rumor has 128 meg).
The card that comes with the phone is a 2 gig ( minus a few meg for folder and software).

The instinct can take up to an 8 gig card, so it can hold a fair amount of music, pics and video.
