It already does, to an extent (Track Titles and Artist), it will overide the file name with the ID3 info

Thanks for the info. I actually downloaded Media Monkey and cleaned v1 & v2 Tags on all my music, then re-applied all tags. and Now everything works and is well organized on my phone.  Only thing is all tracks in a album have to have the same ALBUM, ARTIST, ALBUM ARTIST.  So if a song is featuring anyone u have to put their name in the actual song title.  as in "Song Title Ft. Artist" or some variant of that.  This does work though.

Hey Instinct Folks,

I have been wanting a phone that can replace my IPod Nano for a while now.  (I hate traveling with multiple devices, chargers, etc.)  The Instinct (w/ 8gig fast card) was great with the exception of the minor nightmare of trying to use the Sprint Media Manager for uploads.  I messed with it for a while because I really wanted album art and thought their own software would do it best.  Long story short, I finally downloaded the free version of Media Monkey and after messing with it for a little while, man I'm impressed!  Now it's so easy to organize my music and ALL of my album art works.  (240x240 pixels is just right and fills the screen)  If you want a bunch of music on your Instinct, I'd highly recommend going with the Monkey!

(the Nano's going on ebay!)  Grin

Yep, Media Monkey does a great job.  I use it for both my phone and my iPod.
