Im from Ontario Canada. I love cool techy gadgets. and I try to be cheap.
I had the iphone from Fido with the 15 day satisfaction guarantee- so i got the phone (they botched up and sold it to me for 199 instead 249 because I didn't subscribe to voice plan that cost more than 30 bucks.. ) The iphone I obtained appeared slower to the touch than my freinds iphones and the internet felt slower too. I was annoyed because within 10 days it froze 3 times i had to drain the battery to use it again.. I decided that was not normal. I wanted a new iphone. Fido wouldn't exchange the phone with me. they told me i had to try to use their technicians and trouble shoot it. Hey to me, I got a defective phone, and I just want you take it back and give me a fresh new one that works straight out the box the way it should, like everyone else I know. plus my 15 days satisfaction gaurantee was coming to a close. so i just returned it.
i saw the telus studen 35 plan. I think that voice plan is a pretty good deal but the instinct that i just got today in the mail is crippled! I was watching G4 tech tv, i was hoping for the 2nd battery. well nope, samsung doesn't include the second battery, it was a promotion that was offered by american cell phone carriers. it was nothing to do with samsung ( I called samsung) . When I signed up with telus I told them i was breaking a deal with fido, so in order for them to get my consumership i wanted free voice mail and caller id included in the student 35. they agreed. so i especialy like the plan. BUT the poor phone seems like a silly joke.
to get email from the home menu instead of
www.hotmail.com you have to pay?? what for!?!? if i can do itrfor free in a round about way by opening the browser.. and why cripple the basic functunality of the phone by charging for IM.. I'm really irritated. Also I dont really do much texiting so i didn't want to pay for 100 messages. i suspected noone will text me. i didn't even give out my number yet.. some one in the 780 area code already texted me saying whos this!? i am so mad i have to pay for that crap!!!
