Whats going on all! Just got my Instinct on Saturday 6/21/2008.
Pros...
- My wife is jealous
- great screen with easy to use touch
- Fast speeds for all apps
- Easy hook up and transfer of content from PC
- Able to access multiple e-mail accounts without having to sign in all the time
- Lots of Extras in the box, battery + charger + USB hookup etc
- Nice 2.0 MP camera and the ability to take more than 30 sec of video like some other phones
- GPS! with search features like find gas by price!
- Sweet design and great size and weight
Cons...
- Scrolling through contacts to assign pictures can be a challenge
- Not able to see sub folders in emails that have been setup
- Limited battery life when using video apps (but I suppose that is one of the reasons they give you an extra battery)
- Character recognition with the stylus is not so great
- If you hold the lock key down to unlock the phone too long it will shut off
- No stand alone voice recorder?
I usually end up taking the extra battery to work with me just in case I do wear down the battery in 24 hrs I can put it in. I plan on getting a car charger and cradle for it soon so I don't have it sitting on my lap when i drive. I haven't had a new phone for a couple years, my last new phone was the Samsung Blade that I had for all of 2 weeks before it got lost in the Willamette river and I went back to my old Sanyo POS so I was super psyched when I heard this was coming out and had to get it!
