Well Hello,
I recently purchased the Insticnt HD, and was all excited. I mean what a cool phone, compared to the basic clam-shell service and phone I had before. I had the s30 for about a week, it was a quick over the phone order with no background checking what so ever, basically I listened to the Sales person. Needless to say my excitement for having Texting and Web access was quickly diminished, mainly do to the poor Display. So I traded it in for the HD.
First impressions were, this phone is awesome. Then reality struck, and after trying to fingure out how to download ringtones to my phone (something that was a piece of cake on my old clam-shell) I ended up here.
Looking for Knowledge and wisdom.
After reading this board for almost a week, and learning a lot..... Pandora and Rumkins are cool, I still had not cracked to code on this latest phone. In fact the more I learned and read the more frustrated I got. Most ringtones wouldn't work, I never did get any apps to load, and web surfing was hit and miss for 2 reasons, 1 the keyboard that pops up for the search bars, has no backspace button, what pain in the rear, then 2ndly... since anything that was Flash driven was not supported by the phone, my choices were limited.
So finally after another week of struggling with the new HD, yesterday I took the phone back to my local Sprint store, and asked them for help......
I ended up walking out of the store with... a "Droid".
It's still a Samsung, the "Momment".
Needless to say within the first hour of having the new phone, I already have every ringtone I wanted, every app I wanted, and can brows anything and everything on the web including Pandora, and it all works........effortlessly and beautifully.
And here's the best part, it cost me Nothing..... both phones were for sale at the same price, and since I was still in my first 30 days, they let me just swap...... and oh how happy I am with that. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
So, before I go, and say Goodbye, I just wanted to stop in and say thanks to all of you... because I did learn a lot, and you all were a lot of help.
Thank You.
Have a Great Day.....
Goodbye,
