How do you go about deleting a file from the internal phone memory? My friend downloaded two windows media clips (23 megabytes total) there by accident and I have not found how to access or even play them there. I really don't want them there taking up space in case there are apps available soon for our phones.
Help!!!!!! Shocked

hey there...well if they downloaded anything it's most likely on the micro sd card and not the internal memory...check the memory specs and let us know...last time I checked all downloaded media goes strait to the sd card...in which case you can just delete it using your pc...if anybody else wants to weigh in on this please feel free as I just got my HD and things might be different!...LOL

keep us posted!

No, it's not on the internal memory for sure, it is very easy to manage the sd card memory from a pc. I had 83 megabytes of internal memory available until these clips got downloaded, now I have 60 megabytes. There has to be some way to access the internal memory from a pc without having to completely wipe and reset the phone. "Somebody hep me!!" Cheesy

Shot in the dark for you, few places to look for these files or at least try to get rid of them...open opera mobile and click the center arrow ( where settings and bookmarks are ) and check in the download section, and see if it's still there, or try clearing your cache...

Next place to look is, open your email, show all accounts, then click the gears icon in the upper righthand side and try removing temporary files....then check your internal memory status again...

Then, if that doesn't do it...open your email and show all accounts again, and at the bottom click on " browse files " and check in there...

Hope you figure this out...I downloaded a pdf file and for the life of me, I can't find it either, lol...
I may have deleted it, I don't know, it was a small file...
