This is an issue specific to the M850.  I have the original instinct and the S30 as well as the Instinct HD M850.  Audio works on all except the HD model.  I went to the Sprint store on Monday to see if it was a problem with my phone or the Model.  Sprint couldn't get their display model of the HD to play audio of the game either.  The S30 right beside it played fine (The Hero and Moment played the game alright also)  This is a problem that Sprint is going to have to work out.

Sorry Stevie but you're wrong.  I had the m800 that it happened constantly.  My brother had the s30 and he has the same problem and my wife has the Rumor 2 and the audio buffers and stops too.  I have the Hero now and can successfully say it does play perfect on this phone.  So it is not just for the m850.

Thanks for clarifing this.  I was unaware of these problems with some of your phones.  My S30 and the Stores both worked as of Monday night.  My Original Instinct worked at the beginning of the season.  My S30 didn't work (about a month ago) but after contacting Sprint they reset the phone and installed some packet updates and NFL mobile audio started working.  I worked with Sprint on my HD but a phone reset and reinstalls didn't work for it or the stores.  I haven't found anyone yet with an HD able to play game audio.  For those who have the S30 i recommend that you go to the store some Sunday afternoon or Monday night.  If the store one will play then I would demand a replacement.

One other thing on the S30.  Mine also stopped playing the game audio when I made changes to the phone so it would do the PAM connections.  Had to reset the phone to it's original settings to get the game audio on it again.

Thanks psycho0272, I just submitted a ticket.

Murley, do you have to turn off your screen lock in order for it to run continuously? I know that aside from having streaming problems, when it does work, as soon as the screen lock kicks in, the application stops.

     I actually keep my "off" setting to "Lock Key Only" all of the time.  I've got my "Dim" setting @ 30 seconds.  So, the answer is yes but I use it this way all of the time, not for NFL Mobile.  Again, I'm on an M800, not an HD.

I'll give that a try, thanks for the pointers. Hopefully HandsOn will get back to me as well. I also work down the street from a Sprint repair store, so I might pop in and speak to the reps. I too use the M800. Thanks.

For the HD owners - The Lock key only or never dim options did not work with my phone and the HD model at my Sprint store.  As far as I know there has been no workaround for the HD.

Might be just something with Samsung phones.  Plays fine on my wife's rumor and on my Hero.  Not that the game I'm listening to is worth a actual listdning.  Sad

I was able to hear a Colts v Texans game in it's entirety today on my M800 Instinct. HandsOn did get back to me and said they were checking in on my situation, so I'm not sure if they fixed it. I also made sure that the Lock Key was turned off and no problems.

I can get mine to play but I hate putting the settings on screen lock plus i went through two full batteries listening to the games.
