Mobileburn's review on Youtube is mostly favorable, but they really emphasize how annoyingly s-l-o-w the web browsing is, that it doesn't support flash, and that they dislike how webpages go straight to permanent zoom when turned to landscape mode...
Is it really all that bad?

The Hero has flash lite(flash for mobile).  The Skyfire browser(currently for windows mobile only I think) supports flash, java, and ajax.

I didn't really have a whole lot of complaints about Opera mobile on the HD.  It was speedy enough(on wifi anyway), and it did a good job with webpages.  I didn't have a zoom problem in landscape mode.

I wouldn't know about the web browsing but sinces its opera mobile it can't be that bad. Skyfire works well with watching flash videos on mobile phones.
