The lag seems to have disappeared and the Apps loads faster. I am really looking forward to seeing the progression of this phone. I expect Opera to integrate the web and hardware of this phone to new levels we have never seen.

I just downloaded both parts of the 2 part update. Now I will see what changes. My fingers are crossed that the battery indicator/overheating issue will be a thing of the past.

Is anyone else getting an error during the download? I'm thinking that this is caused by an in phone memory problem on some of the HD's that have been reported. To test my theory, check the in phone memory if your getting an error when downloading the update.

downloading and installing now. so far have had no issues downloading it. It completed update. My battery is fully charged once it reboots I will see what the status states. It reads 90% so I still am not getting to 100%. Facebook still takes a long time to load. Still a bit laggy between home screen tabs. So not sure what this update did.

Make sure you update twice, there are two parts.

wow missed the second part thanks. Downloading it now. Second one takes along time to download and install compared to the first one. ok reads 100% on battery now. facebook maybe a bit faster to load but still awhile. no other differences noticable right away to me besides the battery indicator. We will see if the batteyr lasts longer. I am getting one more bar on my wifi indicator than before update. Its now at 2 bars in the blue verses just one. Not sure if thats a fluke or the update. But I still am only 2 feet away from router.
accelerometer is significantly faster

OMFG....not that again. It happened on the original and it was because some of us had the wrong version of the TV/Radio software. Sprint has no clue how to fix it. Somewhere here on this site are the files that you need to fix it.

If you have the HD, go into Settings, General, the Update Software

The jar/jad files for TV are located here: http://www.instinct-samsung.com/index.php?topic=1072.msg75628#msg75628They do not have the message but it's up to you whether you want to try them on you're HD to see if it will get rid of the message. Like I said, it worked on the Original when some of us had the problem.
