There's no way I'm paying 199 for this when the Hero is 179 in a couple of weeks.  Sprint is so weird.  Knowing sprint the Hero will 379 upfront with a 200 dollar mail in rebate!LOL

This is what gets me, too. I originally heard of the $249 price, but even at $199 it will be $20 more than the Hero and $50 more than the Pre. For a non-smartphone with fancy video recording and output?

At least in the case of the Pre, it's been out for a while and has brought some money in, so I could understand a price drop in order to keep the sales momentum going. However, the Hero will debut at $179, so I'm confused there.
