Im an instinct hd user, I upgraded from the instinct, But lately ive been getting very annoyed with my phone due to the fact that there are no real apps out there for it. Why is it that android and iphone have 10,000 apps available and for a great for like the HD we get to download an iphone clone app. I tried to get a golf gps app for my phone from golflogix, which is supposed to be a great app, but they dont make it for the HD, I tried getting MLB.tv for the HD again only for the iphone. Im just venting because I paid so much for this phone and I really do love it but it just doesnt get any real software designed for it and its very disappointing. Does anyone else out there feel the same way? Does anyone know why were only given scraps when it comes to software while iphone and android get the lions share? Sorry for the rant, just feel like i needed to say that. Also if Iphone goes to verizon i may consider switching service.

You are not alone, would love some apps and upgrades to the software. I am hoping that Samsung app store becomes available to us

I have a feeling this is the end of the line for the Instinct phones and all other feature phones.  Your options for smart phones in the future are Android, Iphone, RIM.  All App developers are migrating to the big three and the most open source OS will dominate(Android). I loved this phone for the hardware but all highend phones will have the same hardware this year, HD, big screen, fast processors, 10MB pics, etc... The next big selling point for these devices wont be Apps but services like streaming HD movies and games and porting them to your TV.  We had a good run but like with all new technology only the biggest survive.
