Anything new since Dec 31, 2009??

I have yet to purchase the HD but I still keep an eye on this board... I had the original Instinct last year for about 3 weeks and loved it, but the coverage in my area was poor and had to give it up. I've since relocated and am now considering the HD, but the poor reviews are worrying me in regards to browser speed.

Has there been any improvements?

I love the HD capability, the voice search and GPS integration, and now only wish the internet was up to the level of at least being reliable.

I bought a Droid a week ago. It's fun and fast, but the pics and videos it takes are borderline embarassing. I really miss the Instinct and now really appreciatethe form factor and ease of use the Instinct offered, and am now once again coming back to consider it...

How is the Instinct HD internet now?

Well it's sure as heck faster than the Hero ( imo )
I tested 3 sites, this being one of them, and this site fully loaded in about 5 seconds police

wha? ok, 10 seconds police

Dang,...fine 15 seconds. geesh....but the Hero was still loading at 45 seconds police

...ok 30

Speed wise, it's pretty quick...now getting some websites to render in a full html view is bothering me, but we should get Opera Mobile 10 when it's released from beta, and it loads 70% faster than the 9.7 we have now ( according to the Opera website )

Thanks psycho... I saw your post regarding http://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/25685?tstart=0
and I went and glanced some of the other issues... wow.
Is this a small percentage of owners, or is this the majority?
Either way, verizon of all carriers is not working too well for me out here
in the Texas woods (Simonton area), so they are sending a tech out to check
what's up.
I may grab the Instinct as soon as Monday.

I think it's more of, will the maintenance release next year fix issues that the new phones are having. I'm glad my issue was resolved, but I had to put it out there for the community because, first, I wanted to make sure this wasn't an isolated issue, and, as you saw in that thread, bugging the source ( in this particular situation ) can lead to positive results in the end.
