Every time I try to open an app or a game, a little window that says "Internal Error While Launching a Program". I have only downlaoded official Sprint stuff and have reset the phone whith the same result. Nothing opens!

At the same time, if I try to open the weather or cnn app I get "A handler is nedded to use K9 content type" with the option to "Get Handler" or "Cancel". When I hit get handler it just takes me to the sprint download page!

Lastly, I now notice that if I try to download anything like a game or ringer, I get that little pop up (that there for just a second, usually goes right to download complete), but the actual download NEVER starts!

All these thing happened at the same time so I have to guess that they are all due to the same issue. Again, I already reset the phone. I am fully updated in terms of software. I only download Sprint content. Anybody have the same issues? Any help? Thanks

Just a little update: I called sprint about this issue and after the CS rep clicked on her keyboard a little, she said it looks like my phone needs to be replaced. So sprint is sending me a new one in the mail! So if this ever happens to one of you guys (looks like I'm the only one though), just call sprint and they should take care of you over the phone! Dont let the rep tell you to go down to a store!

I too recently started getting the handler issue, so I did a restore from the phone's dialer ( ##3282# ) after entering my msl, then did a factory reset...after re-activating and updating everything, everything seems fine for now.
Nobody from the Sprint Community had any answers for me, and I hate having to start from scratch....so, your not alone in that department

While I'm sorry for you that you're having this issue, at the same time it's nice to know that I'm not the only one in the world to have it. I hope the hard reset works for you. It only helped me for a few hours and then the issue started up again. I had to go through another replacement phone till I got one that works.

Anyway, can you put your finger on something you've done recently (download a game, ringer etc.) that might have triggered the error?

I'm thinking the compass from getjar....can't really place anything specific, but I remember trying that app shortly before my troubles began....it's been about a week now, and all seems better now...

Just curious, can you swipe through the CNN, Bloomberg, Weather apps in List mode? Right now I can only swipe through Weather (I have two cities saved), but Cnn and Bloomberg are only icons now. This is post k9 updates by the way. Oh, I forgot to mention that the weather app doesnt update by itself. You having any of these problems?

In list view?, yes...but only the one's showing the yellow dots..weather and cnn...
now while on the articles, I can swipe to the next just like the old pocket express.

after the update I went ahead and restarted the phone, then updated my data profile....
so far everything is updating just fine ( knock on wood )

You saw the new " Manage " add-on I presume? it's pretty handy for things you don't really use...

Nope. I dont have any "Manage" Icon. Also I'm not getting any option to update k9 content. This is my story: When I got this replacement phone, none of the apps had any yellow "swipe through" dots, but there was an upgrade that I downloaded. In the past, that update created the yellow dots on all the apps, but with this phone, it only updated weather. CNN and Bloomberg (if you save stocks you're able to swipe through them without opening the app) never got the yellow dots. I hard reset the phone which deleted the updates and redownloaded them, and still no yellow dots on anything besides for weather. At this point, being on my fourth HD already, this is the most minimal issue I've had to date so I'm not bothering to call Sprint about it. The next one they send me might be worse! Although, if they do recomend a replacement, I can pick almost any phone I want because it will be the thrid time they're replacing the phone. But truth be told, I like this phone the best from the phones available, so I'm not gonna make an issue over this. But if you have any suggestions to help me, I'll be happy to listen!

Clueless...wish I could help.
I didn't know if you set up your favorite stocks that it would do the same as the weather, thanks for the tip...

Google Calendar shows up the same way for upcoming events...nice set up
