tried the volume hack ...just will not work with Bell ...or am i missing something ?

Well, the volume hack is handset based.  I believe that there shouldn't be a difference between your Bell phone and my Sprint phone.  You have to make sure that you find the right one to change, though.  There are a few different codes that will get you "volume" options to change.

Yeah, same.  I'm on Bell, too.

Note, you shouldn't need to hit the green TALK button.  Maybe this code just doesn't work with Bell phones.

i've tried the code on the bell instinct. they dont work. does the Canadian version even have an msl number? if we do we'd need that to get into the menu's anyway. i havent seen a thread about someone calling bell for their msl. bell really screwed us with this phone.
