why is it when someone sends me a video, it just shows a photo? is it the format of how they send it? is anyone else experiencing this problem? i can view videos thru the web browser no problem, just can't watch it as a text... what gives?

is it in your picture mail online album or in your MMS side of the messaging app?

In the actual message does it say 1 pic or 1 vid. you should be able to open it, there will be a partially camcorder symbol in the middle, and the bottle left will have a play button. atleast thats what just happened wit me.

it just shows it as a picture. i know they're sending it as a video to me, cause i just watched it on their phone, and then send it to me. does it have to be a particular format?

Yes, the format is unreadable by your phone most likely, what kind of phone are they using? and also, have them send it to your email instead, atleast you can save it to your mem card for pc view and conversion.

I got a moving pic once, I assume it was a gif. but it did not start playing until i was looking at it for like 20 seconds. otherwise it was a different format that i cant think of and gifs just dont work. then again, i recieved the gif in online album.

Ya no problem, btw the native browser does NOT have a save feature ITSELF, online albums does. I cant seem to find it though, not by the sprinpcs picmail url. Only thru sms alert of picmail recieved.
