I love my google calendar, will there be a way to sync my google calendar with the phone calendar. I know I could just pull up the calendar over the web on the Instinct...just thought there might be a better way.

I am looking for the same thing Im in love with the whole igoogle thing......only good option I know is they can email your daily agenda to you at like 5 in the morning everyday of what you put on your google calender

The models sent for review do not have calender syncing system. That does not mean google can't release their own mobile app that is developed for the instinct if it gets as popular as we are expecting.

Part of the Sprint-Clearwire WiMax deal includes Google as a partner....It was announced that Sprint-Google will collaborate on software for cell phones. Will this impact Instinct?....yet to be seen. I believe its more likely that future Sprint phones will run the Google Android software.
I'm starting to believe that Instinct is coming out at a bad time....iPhone 2 just released and new Blackberry and Android coming soon.

So, the google calendar only works in read-only mode. This is disapointing.

Only the mobile version of google calendar is available. The full version is not supported. You will have to export it out as ical and import another way.

This is from Sprint's BuzzAboutWireless message boards Sprint Employee MDG Sprint Employee ... its important to note that while the Instinct supports Outlook email and Contacts, at this point it does not support Outlook Calendar synching. I have no idea if that function will be developed later. The phone does, however have a calendar function/program on it, just not a synch up with your Outlook calendar. As has been explained to me.... "the Instinct does not use Active Sync for any of these applications at all. The Instinct uses a Java program called Sprint Mobile Email for email (which is a http://www.instinct-samsung.com/index.php?action=post;topic=167.0;num_replies=10feature on many of our newer phones), uses the wireless backup/mobile sync for contacts, and has no support at this time, for syncing the calendar."

Ok, i got it working now. Read around the forums. You have to have your browser settings to OFF for the privacy mode. It most block cookies if it's on. Works like a charm now.
