im looking for compatible mobile browser besides opera mini which i can download directly as .jar file. i have no pc so i cannot open a .cab file, such as for skyfire. Please anyone got links for me?

Skyfire will not work on the instinct.  The only third party browsers available for the instinct besides Opera mini are Bolt, or UCWeb.  There are at length discussions on them here.

bolt is available by going to their website.  I don't know if you can get ucweb or not.

these are the only .jar browsers? ucweb is getting a requested page not loading on download... and i thought i tried bolt before but the touchscreen wasn't working in it for typing.. anything more? Smiley

i just dl'd bolt...its terrible.. and nothing is wrong with opera, i love it!! theres just a certain pic thread with thousands of images in it, it times out, thought i'd test it on another browser.

opera handles websites better than bolt and ucweb in my experience. especially with lots of pics because it doesnt reorder the page.

as i said i do not have a computer. only my instinct. i am surprised my phone has not melted since i'm online so long lol. but yea tried ucweb and bolt, pretty terribl. if no others then opera it stay
