Thank you guys for the advice. I have tried emailing the mp3 file to myself, but it would not download because it says the maximum size allowed for download is 2 MB. My laptop is also not a new one and I do not have an adapter.

Same here, we must have got the same one at Best Buy. I'm sure his computer has USB ports but he doesn't have the cable.

Basically, there are a couple of ways to do it without the cable but your best bet is to buy a cable because the other ways are slow and tedious.
