Is there anyway for me to download the pictures that I've already uploaded to my Sprint Picture Mail account, so I can send the from my instinct? I know I can download them and choose them as a background display, but is there a way for me to resend them as a picture message from my phone?

If the picture is already on your phone, you should be able to. Go into Messaging, at the bottom select Picture -- then in the top left there's a "compose new" icon. From there pick who you're sending to, then you see the folders on your SD card and you should pick wherever the image is, select pic and tell it OK. Then it takes you to the screen where you compose the rest of your Picture Mail message.

If you just want to email someone a pic vs. sending it through Sprint Picture Mail, you can go into Email and at the very bottom there's a Browse Files option. You can pick a file and send it via any of the email addys you've configured on the Instinct.

I've deleted the pictures off of my SD card, but uploaded them to my Sprint Picture Mail account before erasing them. I can go to my Online Albums and download the pictures from Sprint Picture Mail, but it'll download the pictures directly to a download folder on my instinct, not to my SD card. I do this to free up space on my SD Card and also had pictures from my old phone that I uploaded to my Picture Mail account. This is very frustrating. Can anyone help me out?

I did the same thing.  I just emailed them back to myself from picture mail online.  Wink  Worked fine.

So there is no way to do this from my phone? I will have to be online using a full functional computer to access my uploaded pictures from Sprint Picture Mail? That's pretty inconvenient.

Yeah, it is inconvenient.  The best suggestion I have for you is to get an 8gb microSD card off of Amazon--the SanDisk ones are going for around $35.  Then you can just keep pictures on your phone without worry about space.

+1 about amazon, sprint is selling the same thing for close to 90 bucks, and if i am not mistaken, best buy sells it for even more than that. Does anyone knwo what the difference between microsd and micro sdhc is ? will an sdhc card work in the phone ?

**edit** the one on the sprint website says sdhc on it, so I guess I answered my own question.

Yeah, by definition any SD card (regular, mini or micro) that is 4gb or larger is an SDHC card.

Yep.  The reason for the differentiation is that SDHC is technologically different from SD in that it uses a different memory addressing method.  So SD cards will work in devices that support SDHC, but SDHC won't work in devices that support only SD.

Good deal, thanks for the info. I'm sure that will help out a lot of people in the future. If the Instinct supports sdhc, then why won't it support anythign higher than 8gb ? I seem to remember reading somewhere that the reason it wouldn't has to to with the hardware not being able to handle it, then he hinted about a next gen instinct ( this was a sprint employee, supposidly).
