I wanna know how to get the orientation right. Most of my uploaded picture IDs randomly rotate 90 degrees... look okay in speed dialer, 90 degrees off when call's in progress.

Looks normal in the album view... but how do you rotate a pic in the phone? The only rotate tool I've ever seen is when setting wallpaper.

That's my point! Looking normal means normal orientation, i.e. right-side up.

I dont know if you know which way is right side up, this is why i asked. i thought portrait was right side up, til my first 10 pics needed rotating. simply put, in my albums, is the pic the same direction as it would be with qwerty keyboard? THAT is right side up, if not, then fix it on your pc, if it IS like that, then you have a perplexing problem, best you let the older whipper snappers take a crack. btw, you fully updated? contact pics had a issue before the bk14 version

Yeah, we're in agreement about what is right-side-up. And I have tried doing the rotation in Photoshop before uploading to phone, but problem persists. Looks okay in P'shop, looks okay in album, looks sideways in the speed dialer. This is frustrating.

Is it every contact? make a new contact, put that pic on em, see if it works, if it does then delete the original and on the new one fill out the info.

After you did the rotation in photoshop, did you rename the picture?

I figured it out. If you crop a picture square, the phone doesn't know how to interpret the orientation. That was my problem. Crop it to a rectangle, either landscape or portrait, and the orientation is always correct.
