PAM sph-m810 BUT Now cant send text messages???

Alright I'm going to do my best to explain my problem.

I found a video on youtube showing me how to use QPST to turn on the PAM(Phone as modem) on my uncles samsung instinct sph-m810. I followed the video step by step to the T. Everything worked properly. I downloaded the 60650.prl file and installed it on his phone. That was the only thing i uploaded into his phone besides using the QPST program to write the information to disable the NAI. I even tested the modem and was able to use the phone and surf the web. Now heres the problem. He cannot send text messages to all the contacts in his phone(Only recieve) and the contacts names do not show up under the messages menu. He can reply to some texts and compose new texts for some contacts BUT not all.  He told me he went back into the debug menu and was messing around with stuff just before i activated the PAM. My question is did he change a setting in debug mode that caused this problem.. or did i cause this problem by uploading the prl file? AND does any one know the default settings to all the options in the debug menu. ie. korean mode, data mode, etc..

I did alot of searching on the web and cannot find a solution to this besides just resetting his phone to factory settings. If any one has any advice or information to this issue it would be greatly appreciated.
