First let me say that I did search for threads containing my question and didn't find any in that search so...

I have loaded mini 4.2 beta and when I try to enter an address it takes me to a black screen with "www." at the top but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to enter any letters after it and can't back out of that screen. I am feeling less than intelligent right now so if I can get any help I'd appreciate it. Yes, even if it is laden with sarcasm.

Yes, I am a Sprint customer and I did just download from opera.mini.com/beta to get the current version. After playing around with it from my Instinct I believe i am going to have to get to a pc and pull up the site to learn more about opera.

Not what he asked. Did you download the update? What is your software version?

Go to Menu/settings/general/phone info:

2nd line down under VERSION you should see: SW:ES M800  BK14

If you don't then you need to update your phone.

Just hit the box with the "T" and the keyboard will pop up.  After typing, hit done, then ok on the bottom of that screen.
