m4a on instinct? It will only show mp3

Does the instinct play m4a. only mp3 files will show up on my music manager

I have found that it plays audiobooks in mp3 format perfectly and even "bookmarks" where you left off.
I was very pleasantly surprised to see that.

Now if someone will sell and armband holder for the Instinct I will be EXTREMELY happy.
