Why dont yall just hit
home -> phone info (last option)
as soon as the call starts?
if yall face touching the phone that much i wonder how often you gotta wipe that screen.
psht..
because it feels funny when the screen starts scrolling Cheesy
And it doesn't Lock the Screen...

Ok... this isn't a bad workaround... has anyone formally requested this to be included in a sprint update?  Locking the screen would benefit power consumption as well as mistakenly hitting buttons.

Since day 1...it is the oldest request to Sprint since the release of the phone...
Quite frusterating that they haven't addressed much when it comes to " common sence " requested fixes...It wasn't even addressed on the new s30...

Yeah.. this age-old question ranks right up there with slide to unlock. Wink

Ooooh my friend it most certainly does. I'm on firmware CD17, made a call, sent MYSELF a text message and hit my 'lock' button instead of the 'dismiss/view' message when i receive the text.

I don't see why Sprint would've blocked this function out since no one even really knows of it's existence. Smiley
