how to watch a video email ??

if some one sends me a video in an email attachment how do i watch it or can this not be done . also how do i see whats on my micro sd card , using my phone with out using my computer . thanks !

I just have not received any videos by email.  Won't it just play?  OR can you not save it and then open it with the TV/Video app?  That's how I've opened videos I've uploaded to my Instinct.

Ok.  I sent myself a short mp4 by email.  Once I got the email, I clicked on the paper clip icon and the Instinct asked me whether I wanted to save the document with TV/Video or Other Attachments.  I selected TV/Video.  The download began.  Once completed, I could play the file but there was no video; only the sound.  So, I went back and downloaded it to Other Attachments.  Same thing.  I exited the email app and went to TV/Video.  The downloaded file was there in my sideloaded area.  I could select and play it from there.  It seems the problem lies with the email app.  I wonder if waiting a while would do any good before playing from the email message directly.  Have you tried that?  Saving the attachment worked for me.  I was using an mp4 file.

Are you using an mp4 format? 

I would check with your friend to see what format he/she is using.
