I converted the video file using those settings with the program mentioned. When I go to play it on my Instinct, it won't load.

I use dvdvideosoft's video to ipod/psp converter works very well!

It is free.

There is also videora let's you tweak all setting's
free also.

once loaded on your Sd card in the MEDIA folder. you can view it by going to tv/videa>My Vides>sideloaded. the video will be in there. Hope ive helped.
