Author Topic: How do i unlock my 4-digit code, i dont know it and my phone is now useless  (Read 12104 times)

my auto lock was recently set to having the 4digit lock code on so when i tried getting into my phone, i need that 4 digit code and it was changed long ago so it isnt my last 4 digits of my phone. and the person who changed the code doesnt rememeber what it is, what can i do? how can i reset my phone or reset that 4-digit code?

i know you can use a program called CDMA workshop to look it up

yes and i dont know what ports and whatnot to use it on, i try a couple and they all say "failed ... phones did not answer" or somethign along those lines.

Take it into a Sprint store and they will reset the code for you.

look under your devise manager in your control panel under{ports COM and LPT} and look for  samsuing mobile modem and it should have in parenthasis the COM # use that port when using CDMA workshop

z and kb are right it is alot easier to take it in if you havent been messing with these programs but if you want me to continue i will just let meknow if u use vista or xp
