Incorrect, a quick search under 'recorder' would give you this application which works very decently.

Yeah but you need the developer root enabled or policy hack in place for it to work, right?  Also I've been told it will not save your messages. I would rather use voice mail because it will give me

the time, date and length of the message. I can also lock it so it will not be deleted. So nah. Smiley

I have developer root enabled but no policy mod currently.  I compared the quality of the recordings (vm to self  compared to the recorder app) and believe the recorder app has better quality. Currently there is no way to save the files but the developer is believed to be working on an update..

I would imagine with Bitpim you could locate the sound file but that is just my speculation.
